1. Objectives

1.1. Main objectives:

– Provide children with a clear and playful introduction to the magic words: “please”, “thank you”, “excuse me” and “sorry”.
– Encourage the use of these words in children’s daily lives, promoting kindness, respect and empathy.
– Develop children’s oral communication skills by practicing the use of magic words in different situations.
– Reinforce the importance of good behavior and courtesy in social interactions.

1.2. Secondary objectives:

– Stimulate children’s creativity in creating situations where magic words can be used.
– Promote collaboration among children, encouraging them to encourage each other in the use of magic words.
– Develop children’s awareness of the importance of empathy and mutual respect.
– Encourage children to internalize the concepts of gratitude and cordiality from an early age.

2. Introduction

To start the class, we will start with a conversation about what magic words are and why they are so important in our daily lives. Let's remember together some situations in which we can use the words “please”, “thank you”, “excuse me” and “sorry”.

Let's also talk about how these words help make our interactions more pleasant, respectful and harmonious.

To make the introduction more dynamic, we're going to tell a little story about a character who discovers the power of magic words and how they transform his life.

3. Development

3.1. Activities

Dramatization of magic words: The children will be divided into groups and will have to create small dramatizations using the magic words in different contexts. Each group will present their dramatization to the class.

Magic Words Game: A memory game will be prepared with cards containing the words “please”, “thank you”, “excuse me” and “sorry”. The children, in pairs, will have to find the corresponding letters and say in which situation they would use that word.

4. Return

4.1. Learning Check

After the activities, we will bring the children together for a conversation about what they learned with the magic words during class. We will ask questions like: “When did you feel good using magic words?” and “How do you think magic words can make everyday life lighter and happier?”

4.2. Children's feedback

Children will be invited to share what they liked most about today's class and if they have any suggestions for other situations in which they could use magic words.

5. Homework

As a homework assignment, children must create a short comic book where the characters use magic words in different everyday situations. They can color and decorate the stories to share with the class in the next class.

6. Conclusion

To end the class, let's remember together the importance of magic words and how much they can make a difference in our lives and in our relationships with others. Let's emphasize kindness, gratitude, and respect as core values we hope children carry with them forever.

Let's encourage children to practice using magic words every day and realize the positive difference this can make in their interactions with family, friends and colleagues.

At the end, we will thank everyone for participating and reinforce how important it is to be kind and polite in all situations in our daily lives.

Share with us how this class was for you. Have fun and strengthen our magical values! 🌟
